On Thursday, Sept 2nd CSN took the stage at Red Rocks Ampitheatre to a sold out crowd. The boys had one of the best nights playing in this new ensemble, to date. Here Stephen and Jeff trade off leads like they are having a musical game of tennis....throwing guitar licks at one another and then sending em back to one another with a little added backspin. Thanks to Buzz Person for catching this animated moment in the midst of the passion.

Stills and Pevar Rockin the House!!!

It is obvious how much Jeff and Stephen are enjoying playing together. Die-hard CSN fans used to the guitar trade offs between Stills and Young will be delighted to see how well Pevar and Stills are playing off each other in similar spirit. "The playfulness that exists musicially between Stephen and I has exceeded all my hopes and expectations. I am so happy to be able to celebrate the gift of being in such a band with these musicians who were my teachers when I was learning how to play guitar in my teens....now we are all learning and growing from playing music with each other. It's a dream come true" - J Pevar

Pevar Recounts his time with Ray Charles in Interview

Check out the past interview w/ Jeff by Jeff Gemmill on his website the Old Grey Cat and a statement by Jeff regarding his passing:

"I am obviously very distraught at the news...been thinking about Ray all day since I heard it (from Cros at rehearsal)......and it feels good to honor such an amazing man, who taught us all so much... among other things I believe that Ray Charles helped to further signify the importance of american soul music to the world. .. and so much more....probably the most famous musician I'll ever have had the honor to work with....I mean, just about everyone in the world knows who Ray Charles is...... it was always a treat, even when the conditions were less than favorable...I knew, I was supposed to be there to learn some important lessons...heh heh...even when he turned around and yelled "TURN DOWN THAT G*D-DAMNED GUITAR!!!"....heh heh....may our musical father and frontiersman rest in peace..... "
