Jeff has been an honorary member of the NYC/Aspen, CO based band, Little Blue since it's inception by appearing on all of their studio albums and performing with them when schedules permit. This past year Steve Postel, Michael Jude, John-Michel and Jeff joined forces on "Whiskey & Guitars," a new CD and band project entitled, "A Little Less Blue." Organic and mostly acoustic in nature, Steve and Michael started this CD as an acoustic duet project, but as Jeff found himself in Aspen for an extended vacation earlier this year, the idea of a collaborative effort surfaced, and this beautiful CD encapsulates that idea. The chemistry is obvious and wonderful. Besides co-writing the first track of the CD, "Fly Away," Jeff joins in on mandolin, dobro, slide, electric, nylon, lap steel guitars and some vocals as well. You can order this fine CD (and others) thru the Little Blue website at www.littlebluemusic.com ![]()

"The crowd in LA was more attentive than I have ever seen at the LA House Of Blues. The room got absolutely silent for Nash and the fact that so many of his dear friends showed up in support, like Jackson and Joni, made it a very special event for all of us" Peev added. ![]() Jeff meets Joni at the House of Blues in LA

More Jazz Is Dead shows with Jeff are being planned for November featuring other well known, world class musicians!!!...Will update news very soon!!! Jeff brought in his dear friends, Little Blue, from Aspen, CO to join him when asked to headline the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride last week. The band played for 2 hours and 20 min straight....."We we're having so much fun we didin't realize how long we were playing!" ![]() Damian Smith, Michael Jude, John-Michel, Steve Postel and JP in Telluride
& Deputy Prime Minister, Shimon Peres Little Blue returned the favor and invited Jeff to join them for a number of their gigs in the Aspen and surrounding area the following week. Surprisingly while Jeff was in town, the band was invited to perform at a Fortune 500 private gathering at the St Regis Hotel for an intimate chat w/ Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Shimon Peres and President Clinton. "It was like attending a history lesson", Peev reported. "I was blown away by how brilliant these 2 men are. After the talks were over I was hoping Clinton would loosen his tie and come sit in on some sax, but it was late and the guys were a bit knackered....Hopefully next time!" ![]() Top row: Michael, Damian & Jeff - Bottom Row: Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres & President Bill Clinton- Photo: Leigh Jude
The President must have liked what he heard because the following evening, he came out on the town to hang out, talk and dance with the locals where Little Blue was performing at the St Regis Hotel in Aspen. "I had a short conversation with President Clinton that night" Jeff admits. "We had met once before, about 14 years ago when I was touring with Joe Cocker. We were all on the "Tonight Show" together when Carson was still hosting the show. Cocker was on to promote a new record and Clinton was on doing PR for his upcoming run for President. When I reminded Mr Clinton of this occasion his eyes lit up and he smiled....It was a great moment. He's a good guy." ![]() Damian Smith, Michael Jude, The President, Jeff Pevar and John

Pre-production vocal rehearsals commenced this week in LA for the upcoming Graham Nash Band tour in September. Although the selections performed on tour will remain a surprise, rehearsals included songs from Nash's new release, as well as well known songs from Grahams illustrious past. Jeff and James are so thrilled, to once again, be put in the unique position of singing 3 part harmony with yet another member of CSN! "The blend was immediate and very natural" reports Jeff, "and Graham and Russell both seemed very enthused and excited, as are James and I!!" Tour dates are now posted on the Tours and Gigs Page! ![]() Russ Kunkel, Graham Nash, James Raymond and Jeff Pevar at rehearsals.
