Jeff opens for the Doobie Brothers at the Britt

Jeff was invited to open for the Doobs on Aug 22nd at the Britt Festival Pavilion in Jacksonville, OR during a break in his CSN touring. The impromptu trio included Bobby Vega (bass) and Michael Hyman (drums) along w/ special guest Inger Jorgensen (vocals). Jorgensen wowed the capacity crowd when she joined the stage midway into the set. Later on in the evening Jeff joined the Doobie Bros for thier encore to play and sing on "Listen To The Music". Fun was had by all. Check out www.ingerjorgensen.com to learn more about this wonderfully talented artist/songwriter.

Jeff "Sittin In" with Kenny Loggins and Jimmy Messina
at the Fleet Pavilion in Boston

Jeff was invited to play w/ Kenny and Jimmy during their reunion tour concert in Boston on July 25th. Jeff played 5 songs during the second set, all on lap steel, including the Poco classic, "You Better Think Twice", Buffalo Springfields "Kind Woman", and the Loggins classic, "Love Song". Interestingly Jeff had recommended CPR drummer, Steve DiStanislao for their tour. Steve nabbed the audition and has been touring with the ensemble all summer. L&M tour dates are on Kenny's website at www.kennyloggins.com..... Don't miss it!

JP Makes Time During Hectic CSN Schedule For Camp Creek

Once again Jeff was able to arrange a solo concert slot at this years annual Camp Creek Festival in Mariaville, NY. This years line up also featured Matt Zeiner on keys and vocals, Dave Livolsi on bass and Joel Rosenblatt on drums. Jeff was playing the evening before in Boston at the Harbor Fleet Pavilion and had a 2 night stint at the Beacon Theatre in NYC w/ CSN afterwards. Jeff's set unfortunately got cut short, and a few fans were mildy upset, but the boyz had a blast anyway.....

Jeff and Wayne Johnson perform at Russ and Julie's House Concert

Jeff & Wayne Johnson - Photo: Inger Jorgensen

On Feb 26th Jeff and Wayne performed both solo and duet in Agoura Hills for their first shared musical evening together. "I've been a fan of Wayne's musicianship from the first time I ever heard him. I heard Wayne's recent solo acoustic record and was blown away. I suggested he contact Russ and Julie if he was interested in performing at their place. I was invited by them to share the evening, as well. Rather than each of us perform solo sets we decided to do a bunch of songs together. We never had a chance to rehearse but it went amazingly well anyway. Hopefully we'll do more together down the line" Jeff reported. Click here for more info about Russ and Julie's House concerts
